Good
Presented On Saturday
& Sunday Included With Package A, B & D
Part I:
Dr. Fleck initiates begins with a discussion
of ingredients found in pet shampoos and sprays that cleanse, exfoliate,
enrich, add fragrance and add sun protection to the skin and hair coat.
Strategies will be discussed with appropriate protocols for product ingredients
that give the groomer the best opportunity to treat bad skin and hair coats.
Protocols for maintaining healthy pet skin will also be reviewed. Comparisons
of the pet groomer with the cosmetologist and esthetician in human skin care
will be discussed.
Part II:
Dr. Fleck will define the parameters
and limits of groomer treatments of the skin, hair coat, eyes, ears, mouth
and the peri-anal areas in a workshop atmosphere. What does the groomer
treat and what should be left to the veterinarian to diagnose
and treat? A quick review of Part I will precede Part II.
